New Pepsi Can

This is the new Pepsi logo I spotted in the store this past evening, snapped on my mobile phone. I’m not a big soda drinker anymore, but when I do, make it a Pepsi pal!

Long gone are the days of the Cola Wars, but it seems that we still are greeted with an annual, if not semi-annual change of the logos or can graphics from both soft drink companies. I’m rarely taken by either change as I don’t see so much value in the change, besides the change itself. “Wow, look at the new can.” I think that is the extent for most buyers, which is enough to make an impulse purchase that much more attractive to the casual shopper. We all like a new shirt or new suit to wear to a meeting to impress our potential clients. But its still the same salesmen in that suit. I think a great products is always going to beat a lesser product, but a fresh presentation never hurts.
