Tobin Lehman elected as President of the Greater Frederick Advertising Federation

Tobin Lehman Design + Interactive is pleased to announce the appointment of Tobin Lehman as the new president of the Greater Frederick Advertising Federation (GFAF). The GFAF is a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the oldest national organization for advertisers. Lehman will succeed Louanne Welgoss, the club’s president since 2008.

Lehman has served on the GFAF board since 2005 as a director and, most recently, as the club’s vice president. As vice president, Lehman oversaw digital communications and organized educational events including five very successful breakfast roundtables for local micro businesses and entrepreneurs. In addition to his service to the GFAF, Lehman also serves as the educational chair for the American Institute of Graphic Arts Blue Ridge Chapter and as an adjunct lecturer at Shepherd University and Frederick Community College.

Upon accepting the position, Lehman said, “I’m honored to serve as the president of this talented and active club. This year brings unprecedented opportunity to grow the club with the addition of six enthusiastic new board members and a membership that is ready for change. The club can look forward to growth in the advertising community through engaging events and a redefinition of the club’s focus.”
